Yamaha YSP-1000

Due to limited space at home, I cannot afford normal "5.1" setting (ie. 家中不能拖線; can't allow back speakers :cry:  )

and I saw this Yamaha (YSP-800 / 1000) at the show.  Can anyone comment on this?  and please recommend other better model if any.  Thanks!

Is Yamaha 2500 good?  As said, 家中不能拖線!  My bugget < $10,000.  Any more choice?  Thanks!!!

1. You'll still need a subwoofer.
2. You'll need 2 walls - left and right for reflecting the sound.
3. The 1000 sounds just ok. No idea what 2500 the earlier poster is referring to. The only Yamaha 2500 I know of is av amp.

yes, I tried YSP1000 B4 too, it feels ok.  Yamaha also has a subwoofer for this series.  See this link: http://www.yamaha.ca/av/YSP/YSP1000.jsp.

Beside the price of YSP1000, I also concern about its size (quite big).   Any more choice??
