anyone has experience in modifing LITE DAC60???
i wanna improve 'depth os sound' of it............

Yes, I have modified mine. Change the output cap 2.2u to some real good caps like Jensen. Change the Digital Output Cap ( C4) 0.1U to good quality cap. Change the High tension electric cap to a good quality one. Mine is much better the than the CEC origianl D/A.

There is some brown color 100U 400V, you can replace it with other caps like blackgate or jensen , it will improve significantly, Also change "C4" lablel on pcb ( 0.1U) this is the digital input caps, the effect is very hugh if modified.

I saw a LITE DAC50 at 2nd hand review 33.com. owner asking $980 only.
the sound quite sweet and muscial .
it can produce great sound after some modifcation.

I have not change the resistor to choke yet as it will cost quite alot unless you buy local choke..... There is no place in my DAC too as I chnage the high voltage cap to a large Elna 100u 500V x 2 cap.

i have recently change to a choke(lite), but the effect is not very dramatic.....not as dramatic as chanage cap.....

The original Lite tube IV did not sound appealling to me and I have done this Jfet IV modification on Lite 50.  It sound much better now.  The Jfet IV is based on Nelson Pass D1 IV design with change of mosfet to Jfet.
