Why your Preamp have "hum" noise? it is easy to understand by learning some basic theory.

Can we know more config of the power amp?

You know, we like to learn the theory, like to have practical, and more enjoy to show up the final product in front of friends and family.

Dear Kdiy,

The amp is use as a tools which teach the student about the theory and measurement. When you know how is working and measure about it, you will know the traditional amp. measurement too.

Don't look this amp is too complex, it is a Class AB amp which is using Philips TDA8571J 4 x 40W.

Voltage is using 12V. Single power supply.

Frequency response (from datasheet) is 20-20KHz.

We using frequency response as example, the student will make the amplifier according to the datasheet provided, but he/she will measure the actual result compare with the "datasheet" provided, the result may be not same as datasheet describe, this is the chance to give the student how to make and change components setting to make the result close to datasheet describe.

Plus.... S/N ratio...etc

This is the aim of our DIY begineer course.

Sure! you will learn lots of things!   

The workshop will tell you the basic concept of electronics and have some practical assembly so that you can obtain both technical and assembly skills!

1. A note pad (you may need to write down some tips and note during the lecture time)

2. NO NEED to bring any tools, we will provide enough sets.

3. You may need to bring the plastic container (you better to use the empty plastic box from CDR (50 sets), it is good for PCB etching use)
