Very busy during the chinese new year, project progress very slow. Last night finish part of the main circut. Let's share some photos.

Hi gijoe_22, Your DIY projects are gorgeous !!

Where can we buy those beautiful red copper plate and steel bars ? Do you worry that the copper plate are easily oxidized ?

I bought the red copper plat in Reclamation Street, 2' x 4' 1mm thick & cut in different size that I want, cost HK$580!! (2mm thick come in 4' x 8') Well, it will oxidize but not easy, because red copper is more pure (90%+) than green copper. I will apply lacquer later.

The L shape bar is 1/2" aluminium, it easy to buy in "五金舖".

What tools you use to cut the thick copper ?  I had experience to cut thick metal by some strong scissors, but the metal was bent after cutting !!
