Well, nearly > 20 years ago, I had built a 6502 Apple ][ computer, but now everything things seem so new to me.
I guess A. is not expensive, and for B. you said it is easy, and I think I can try.
Op-amp - I guess it is Output amplifier, so how much woudl be the cost ? How can I start that ? Can I goto your place to do it ? What would be the tutition fee ?
Fresh level:
No need special EE skill, he/she need to watch and locate the components location. i.e. (need to understand the "look" of the op-amp, which one is resistor, Capacitor)
Soldering skill and Tools application.
Immediately level:
Understanding the difference grade of components, advance de-soldering skill. Some mechnical work.
Advance level:
Circuit design, modification. Improvement. Debug. Function add on.
I think it is quite danger to mod the power module without experience. I suggest you take out the audio board (the board that place upside down) and replace the opamp with a opamp socket+the opamp you like. Besides, you can also replace the cap of the audio board with Nichicon KZ series.
