Question about changing power tubes from 6p3 to El34

Hi,

i'm just new to this forum. I have a Ming da MC34-B integrated amp.The power section using 4 6p3 tubes. Is it ok to change them to EL34? or for safety, just changing the tubes to 6l6 types tubes like the manual said? Thanks
