發了燒的鐘 / Burned Clock

剛剛再看清楚, 發現在 DB 104 上面有一條大裂痕. 煙就是從這裡走出來的. 這個鐘是幫同事買的, 攪成咁我都唔好意思收錢 ....  :cry:

What is wrong with the PCB? Did the shop owner soldered the wrong direction or ....

look like no  wrong with the PCB and the shop owner have no soldered the wrong direction or. just shorted the IC only.

So I can go back and ask for a replacement for the IC and then replace it and give it to my friend no problem?

i think viewer is right, just change the IC should be working...

It is strange. I don't understand WHY the chip blows in the first place. I connect 12V AC to the clock, I immediately see smoke / fumes coming out of it ....

your first cap 470/16V is too low or max. V

do the math, 12V x 1.41=?

Oh ... I bought this toy as a "finished product". The seller replaced the cap for me already.

I don't know Electronics at all ... ha..ha.. I am an Economist, not an Electronist ....
