GIEC HDMI DVD modification by CD Classmate"BEN"(13

Major modification on SMPS, the video board will be modification at later when the user change a new LCD TV.

SMPS:
Controller is Infineon ICE2A0565, for the lower switching loss and lower EMC radiation, KK will recommeded the user change the controller from 2A0565 to 2A2565, the temperature of the controller itself will be lower than before, and get highest efficiency and lower switching loss. The picture and sound quality will be a great improvement.

PS: only same brand can be make a replacement.


Modification:
China 1N4004 --> BYW54 (NXP)
China brand Y2 --> BC components Y2
China brand cap --> Sanyo OS-CON and Rubycon MBZ series
China brand Schottky diode --> ON semi. MBR41H100 S.Diode.

1. Change better X1 cap.
--> Improve the EMC performance

2. Change to BYW54 from 1N4001
--> Lower switching loss, lowe noise
--> Why not change fast recovery / high speed ? --> Please come to our course next time, it have brief explain.

3. Change the Infineon Coolset ICE2A0565 to ICE2A/3A 2565
--> Lower switching loss

4. Change diode to Schottky diode
--> Lower switching loss, lower heat

5. Change Cap to Low impedance Cap
--> Lower switching loss
