I'm DIY beginner and interested in this course.
Just want to ask what the output power of this tube amp is ?
and can it drive a floorstand speaker (89db) ?
Thx.
It was a hard fast and very enjoyable 2& 1/2 days. In the end we all had our amp on the system for listening....
Anyone who is interested in getting into DIY hifi (much more rewarding that buying the expensive models), this is a very good course to get on. I have zero expereince in anything hifi...and to have this amp in my hand at the end of 2 & 1/2 days was thoroughly exciting.
The goodthing was, we all had modification of our own and the course accommodated all our needs. I had installed a headphone jack (for my AKG 701) and upgraded to "black gate" capacitors....looking forward to listen this after running it in.
Next project....?
I did not test (distortion, signal etc), when can I do these tests and to finish off the remote control set up?
