front and centre speakers

I want to buy a centre speaker. Do I have to consider what front speaker I am using. I may change to another pair of front speaker later (3-6 months), but I need to buy the centre one now. Any idea?

My budget is 3,000-4,000.

But what I want to know is whether I need to consider what front speaker to use when choosing sub, or it is irrelevant. Thanks.
