1. The CDM-X loader is pre-assemble, not recommend for Diyer begineer to assemble it, include the SERVO board, alot of testing needed by equipment after finishing.

2. Power supply board + Digital output board + Up-sampling are in same PCB. Diyer are need to assemble this board by using difference kind of compoennts.

3. Front panel : VFD and LCD are available by adding display off function to get the better sound quality.

4. There are 2 kind of chassics is available.

PS : The upsampling function is selling together with the power supply board and will not sold seperately. Which adding alot of extra function with the MCU.

It should be OK for you.

For this course, student who need to solder a QFP package IC (Up-sampling IC) on PCB.

For normal compoennts such as R,C,L, we have teacher will teach you. Sure you need to learn some basic skill (will provided in the course) to learn the colour code, the direction of diodies & capacitors.

Also, you need to learn and do how to make a floor planning and assemble the metal case, you need to drill some of the holes.

PS : Our course is not a plug and play.
It is a real DIY course.

What is the sound quality compare with Pro2 VS CDM9 ?

Yes, it is equip with this.

We have upgrade daugther board for 7x4 config.

32KHz, 44.1KHz,48KHz, 88.2KHz, 96KHz, 172.4KHz, 192KHz
16bit, 18bit,20bit,24bit.

2 differential IIS or 2 invididual IIS, 3 X SPDIF out, output at same time.

5 input : IIS, IIS, SPDIF x 3

It is not a simple Plug'n play toys.

Decode two difference IIS and output in matrix mode.

Decode the IIS signal and output the differential IIS signal to 2 IIS port.
Diyer simple connect 2 DAC to form a 4X DAC mode. (48bit resoluton / channel)

1. At the show, we are using RV01 power supply board, it is a basic one. (for our course, we use RX03 power supply board, it adding a lot of feature, not disclose here la....)

2. RX03 can be adding Up-sampling board at future time. There are 2 version of up-sampling board. Basic and Advance
Basic : 4 output mode :
44.1/16 DSP re-clocked + Interpolation (not traditional TCXO clocked method.
44.1/24 DSP re-clock + interpolation,
96/24 DSP re-clock + interpolation,
192/24 DSP re-clock + interpolation

3. TWIN loader. (We can support !!!)


We have DSP engine, other does not have...... just stay on plug'n play level.

SW : NERO 8
Windows XP Home edition
CD Source :
1) SONY TEST CD with 99 track
2) FULL 73:40 CD disc from various song

CD-RW Media :
Mitsubishi
CD-PRO2  FAIL, cannot read TOC for  disc 1 and 2

E-Blue
CD-PRO2 can read TOC, fail on reading at Track 76 at 1)
fail on reading at 65 min area at 2)

TDK
CD-PRO2   Fail on reading TOC for disc 1 (2 time OK out of 10 trial)
Disc 2 is PASS

MAXELL
CD PRO2 fail on reading TOC at disc 1
CD PRO 2 fail on playing after 63 min at Disc 2


CDM-9 can read all.
