喇叭氣孔與海綿

買喇叭時, 如果喇叭有氣孔通常都會附送一粒海綿, 用來放進氣孔內聽人家講係用來控制低音的有無人知道係咪一定要放? 幾時先知要放同埋點控制低音用呀? 或者是有其他用途嗎?

brother, this can be used for Bass sound fine tune, pls refer to your speaker manual for details. in general, put 海綿 into speaker can put down the Bass sound. So, if u feel the Bass sound is much then your expectation (e.g. u feel BOOM), u can put 海綿 to put down the Bass

我個speaker 張說明書(應該是說明卡only) 只得一張圖... 無乜特別野講, 只得個speaker 的規格咋... 所以要前輩教路... 剛玩無耐, 好多野都係睇書學習中  如果覺得boom boom 聲先加令佢變得smooth d? 咁唔會減低個低音量嗎?

I am also a new hand in HiFi, just play ~1/2 year.
I learn this from my speaker manual only. Yep, put 海綿 will 減低個 Bass. So, just put it IF u feel BOOM BOOM. U can test it with same CD & volume level to see which Bass condition is good for u.

拎走左之後, 發覺低音強勁左不過就好似低音音量比高音音量大左正所謂你所講的boom boom 聲強左用黎睇電影, 低音效果高d, 現場氣氛會正好多不過用佢黎聽下歌仔就好唔協調, boom 得過份

Have you used the better 釘腳 under your speaker and CD PLAYER? Those parts are need. Those can help to improve the BOOM sound and must make the sound stage clear more. musical you can choose 木釘 but Don't use China made 木釘 with cheap price, China made only can be accepted is 樂林, but also expensive,

Better choice is SoundMechanic, or famous is Black Diamond Racing, for CDP is good enough, it better than Golden Sound

Here'ssome of my opinion for sharing.

My find out is that when use the sponge to block the pot, even though can reduce low bass but dynamic ma reduce as the speaker can't breath well after block.

when remove it, bass and dynamic increase, if got boom-boom then can increase distance from the back wall.

another alternative will be quite complicated --> add sand bag inside speaker, twisted the cable connected to tweeter & woofer, fill in the yellow fibre/sponge in the speaker box. It take time for you test wht the amount of fibre sponge require but it is worthful if u really 12 improve your clearity, tighter your bass. I'm not sure how's the result of your speaker but at least the result very good for Monitor Audio bronze 3 & AE AEGIS 1.
