MUSILAND MD10

I just bought MUSILAND MD10 yesterday.

Pls kindly tell me the best volume setting of MUSILAND MD10?

If I set the volume to 0 db , the sound will become 拆聲.
But if I set the volumer to -5db, then become normal. Is it normal ?

Properly overload your amp when the volume is 0 db, properly normal.

I don't have the spec on hand for your machine. Just guessing below:

1. If it is a USB based device,
Try to output a WAVE file of 0dB 1KHz, it should be no distortion.

2. CD player output a 0dB sine wave, your DAC should not be distrotion.

If yes, you need to check it.

My spec:

Onkyo SR705
Denon 2930    (Coxial to MD10)
Onkyo SE-200  (Optical to MD10)

No matter I connected with Denon or Onkyo, when I set 0db of MD10,
the sound from SR705 will greater than normal, but the sound will become 拆. But when I set -5db, the sound back to normal again.

Yes, when I set it to -6db, its resumed normal.

And I connected it with Denon 2930 and Onkyo SE-200 sound card,
the scene of sound had remarkable improved.

Its especially compared with Onkyo SE-200 RCA with AV Amp.

MD-10 do a great job.
