Dussun X1200 pure power supply

I bought the Dussun X1200 power supply in 华强北万商电资城.

The authorised dealer in Shenzhen after reading the articles on that power supply.   It is around 60 lbs in weight.

When I listen the difference between having the power supply and without the power supply, it is quite silent at the background and field are more board.  Lower frequency is stronger.

It is now placed in a familiar shop in Yuen Long for the shop manager to test (I have promised him to let him have a test).  In fact, I am damn busy at the moment.

I bought it from the dealer in shenzhen in 万商 called 德韵音响 at a bargained price of RMB8,600。  As I understood from the shop manager, they have concern over the HK dealer.  Thus I have not ordered it from HK dealer.  In fact, the price quoted by HK dealer is only HK$9,000.

For your information, the fuse length is quite strange where I cannot replace it with a better quality one.

After one month, the performance of the power supply is quite good.

I suggest you to have their transportation company to deliver back to HK.  They charged me HK$105 for sending from Shenzhen to Yuen Long.  It is very heavy and difficult to carry back to HK.

I have paid a visit to a HiFi Shop located at Tim Chi Building (Mongkok). As you said, they offered the mentioned power supply at HK$9000 including delivery fee.
In view of the cost, it seems that it is more worth to buy it in HK as the value of RMB is increased. However, I am still doubtful is it worth to pay 9k for this improvement. (I mean the improvement is significant or just a little bit?) Also, the price of this range (9k) is available for me to choose another band names just like Silver ribbon, CSE and Isotek ect…. Is Dussun can give a great improvement compare to other band names? I would like to seek your further comment, pls.

I am really sorry that I do not have time to have a detailed testing of my new toy because I am very busy these days and still run in.  Preliminary, the performance is good as compared with magnat pwoer supply of similar price and you can look at the article in 2008/02 discussion on x1200 in 音响技术。  The comment is good and the materials are good.  The wave modification system would cost you a lot of money if you choose to buy such function from PS audio.

However, I will suggest you to participate in the workshop for 隔理牛. To DIY one, it would be more economical.   

For HK dealer, do they have inventory now?  I have concern whether they can get the products from PRC manufacturer.  Besides, the price is much lower than PRC.  Please be careful.  Don't give too much deposit if you are going to order in HK.

The drawback is that it is not suitable for 后级！

I really want to find a power station with filter for my Power amp EDGE NL12 and also the digital parts (Pass Lab alpha pre amp and Cambridge Audio 640C CDP). For the part of power supply, I am  now using a cheap product made by RPC.
In fact, EDGE is a power demanding device. (300W per each channel) It seems that it would be unlikely to use Dussun to push my Gear. Is that right?
