DIY the SMPS using
Infineon ICE3B2065 SMPS controller.
0.1W no load standby power
0.7W standby power with LinkStation
Schottky diode for lower loss and temperature.
Rubycon MBZ capacitor
Efficiency > 85%
37'C during full load

This kind of IC is very best for modification in DVD machine such as Denon DVD-29X0 series.  Due to lower EMC, lower switching loss, and higher efficiency.

If using in $300-$1000 DVD machine, the effect is more significant.
