Thanks KK Sir, Terrific. I already have a VRDS CD transport and a 1955 DAC for CD. Wanna build one more DAC for CAS to play 24bit/192k source files in living room.

Looking forward to a course to building a CD transport only, best with SACD and module to convert DSD to I2S to be played by the 1955 DAC.

BTW, my DAC 1955 MK2 intermittently displays 'no signal', though the co-axial is still 'locked'. Any glue? Anyhow I replaced a BG 47uf and a wima .001u cap in the digital receiver section (my multimeter always detects short circuit with these pair of caps) and hope the issue was fixed.

If you still not fix the issue, please let me know. Most people have problem in Digital input for MK2 issue.

Thanks in advance KK Sir. It's been working more than 10 hours and only disconnected once for 3, 4 seconds. The TEAC VRDS transport is 15 years old and I also cleaned the co-axial output with WD40.

老實講，DIR9001穩定好多，雖則衹食96KHz.

It's unfortunate that we have to take the good with the bad sometimes! Hope it gets stable soon. I wanna try it's I2S input...

如果入得哂32bits data 入去才有意思。

呢部用9018sabre，可惜一舊過連blue ray/SACD transport，我用嚟睇blue ray and DVD，知道
有shop攞左來mod當cd/SACD用。我就想整多部淨DAC，分體嘅係正點！

標準Coaxial Digital output 出CD／SACD stream 係設定係44.1KHz/16bits.

想要出RAW, 你衹可以用HDMI.

仲有，此機Audio Performance 衹係好，並非發燒級，鋪頭同雜誌用普通機同佢PK梗係咩啦

WD40 is a lubricant, not for conductor....    !!!!!

WD40 is also a cleaner to remove deeply accumulated filth and thus improve conductance.

well, WD40 is not a conductor itself.  while it has "removed deeply accumulated filth",  you have left some non-conductive material on the socket.  That is WD40.  If you don't clean it off with something else,  you have not quite improved the overall conductivity of the surface. If you use a microscope to look at it, you have left a lot of things there.

i think WD40 is oil base...also hard to remove...

Well, if we are using a microscope to look things up. there are always rugs and dens which prevent perfect contact. In terns of practical application, WD40 can be used to clean electronic and electrical connections. It is not a conductor, by all means it is not an isolator either.

其實這個 POWER SUPPLY 是從自己舊的 1955PRO 搬過來的而已 ... 不是新的.

You are correct.  And oil is poor conductor.

My whole purpose is to clean up the 15 years old filth. I would have to worry if WD40 is a conductor and I didn't clean it up properly which potentially caused a short circuit.
