My suggestion is.....

Both.

Reason:
1. you can upgrade the Linn CDP for sound quality.

2. You can upgrade the 3910 for video.
For the audio section in 3910.
You can :
1. Change the DAC same as A1XV one.
2. Change the op-amp
3. Change the SMPS (audio section) to R-CORE.
4. Change the necessary capaciors.

You will ask..... how much improve then before, you can compare my 3910 after mod. (use my 3910 as reference).

摩 AV AMP 色差,
會教點樣由二入一出改為三入二出, 已 Firmware 吾使改, (不是加拍掣 !!!)
當然, 摩下份 AV Amp DAC / DD/DTS decoder 吾少得
再狂D加份 HDAM buffer 係 AV AMP 入面又得, 大把位....
