Coaxial Must better than analog RCA interconnect, base on which part decoding.

For stereo audio part.
If you have a 10K CDP >> 7K AVAMP,
use 10K decode may be better than 7K AV amp decode, then use interconnect.
If your 4K DVDP >> 7K AVamp, Must use Coaxial out to your AV AMP to deocde, use digital transfer better than analog transfer.
Both choice better use same grade of cable.

Coaxial part of DVDP, seldom go to 改機, 2. 一開二分插,
No one know the result and quality.
DVDP now is not expensive, Why not buy another cheap DVDP or better Pure CDP, seperate to do the music and Movie part, the price of 改機, you may get a new Philips12 bit dac DVDP below $1000.

Explain clearly, your case is DVDP to AV AMP, not Pure CDP, totaly different sound effect because of the budget for Video part or audio part.
DVDp not main focus on sound but main focus on video chips, Pure CDP, Must focus on audio only.

If you use 4k CDP may be better than AV amp decode but use interconnect will have lost you may consider, 4K DVDP's sound, different from 4K pure CDP,
