According to the manual, only PCM signals are allowed to go into the optical input. Does this mean my current source PC has already converted all these flac/ape/wav to pcm?

PC output only PCM to optical output socket.
i.e. PC CPU convert FLAC/WAV/APE to digital PCM format.

About remote control, I can browse my NA7004 via a browser doing simple control. But my phone can barely connects the machine. Besides. I think Windows Media Centre is a kinda music library which I can always stream some music and video using PS3/N3. Well I do not have this luck for my NA7004:Q

1. DA CONVERTER 有的用CYSTAL CS8414, CS8416, CS8418, 哪一粒好?
2. SRC 蕊片又係哪一粒較高, 好似係4193, 4198....
3. PCM 有1704, 1706 1798, 1795, 1796... 哪一粒較高級?

Why,

CS841X is digital receiver.
2. SRC 蕊片又係哪一粒較高, 好似係4193, 4198....

PCM1795 is 32bits DAC.

Linn DS 要下一個firmware先support party mode, 到時可以同一時間stream去Marantz同Linn。iphone介面可用返Marantz或SongBook。Plugplayer還未支持party mode。

看完版主“打磨”完馬記ＮＡ７００４﹐不用聽就知秒殺了ＬＩＮＮ的同類機。
剛ＲＩＰＰＥＤ了一個24BIT/192K的音樂文件﹐用硬盤直接插入1080P播放機播放﹐
用光纜接昇頻解碼行到192K﹐由于解碼只有24BIT/96K指示﹐但96K燈亮表明24BIT/192K
ＯＫ﹔因為1080P的機器光纜輸出必須支持24BIT/192K才可以接7.1功放
用CAT7網絡線下載播放時只是44.1KK燈亮﹐可能CAT7無法滿足192K的要求。
請教版主有沒有用我以上的方式跟ＬＩＮＮ及馬仔的比較過﹖那種方式好些﹖

無試過，因無此机。
因Marantz 摩後與LINN冬有千秋，相信NP-S2000 吾改好難一拼。
