front and centre speakers
I want to buy a centre speaker. Do I have to consider what front speaker I am using. I may change to another pair of front speaker later (3-6 months), but I need to buy the centre one now. Any idea?Re: front and centre speakers

But what I want to know is whether I need to consider what front speaker to use when choosing sub, or it is irrelevant. Thanks. I think each brand has their stregth. Center speaker please consider the sound with clear and good with mid. freq, not too sharp but wide.
$3000-$4000, you have many choice to find a good center,
Normally if you only have one pair speaker for both AV and Pure audio, the main speaker MUST be fit more with your musical taste and with higher budget, not consider more in AV part , Subwoofer also no need use same brand with other speakers, most famous subwoofer brands are mainly subwoofer producers, not focus on stereo speaker eg. sunfire, Velodyne....
base on your taste to find your loveers.....take it easy....
