GG preamp - the Legend
While GG preamp is getting very famous on this forum, may i take this opportunity to show all where it is coming from....It all started from here

The disginer Bruce has written 2 books, the first book is all about tube theory - an interesting read if you like to learn more about tube preamp/amp
The second book is on his design of some commercially available products GG and T8.
I was told that initially he started off as a small audio company selling his preamp and amp. however, without much advertising, there isn't much success. This is all about 10 years ago. he was almost on the verge of going broke. Instead of letting his pains taking design die away slowly, he published his design in a book which some of the people on this world - like me - bought!
After discussing with a number of friends, he desiged to sell GG as a kit which eventually receive an overwhleming success. So, If you have built the GG, do pay a visit to the Transcendent forum where it all started! There are incredible amount of information on it!
And of course, after you have satisty with the GG, it will be time to move on the build your OTL T8 - just like me! ackcheng: Thanks for the very useful information, yes, we should know more about the origin of our DIY GG.
