FULL modification HiMEDIA HD100 (Pending a course)
Requirement :50 people or above.
1. Rebuild the full alum chassics.
Size = 430mm x 75mm x 350mm, all mounting hole will be pre-drilling.
People just do a simple assemble like DIY PC.
DVD-ROM is center mount, HDD is hidden by alum panel.
Alot of logo will be silk screen on panel.
(DDM?, DT?, HDM?,TH?,Blu-Ra?, etc)
2. One HDD is mount in chassics inside. (for TV recording)
3. One HDD is mount in "Removable mount"
4. Build in Slot-in DVD ROM
5. Build in 4 in 1 card reader.
6. USB terminal in the rear.
7. LAN, HDMI, S/PDIF (Optical, Coaxial) will be keep.
8. YUV, 5.1, 2.0 output will be remove.
9. Rebuild the SMPS power supply for HDD, DVDROM use.
10. Partition of each block to reduce interference.
11. Adding R-CORE with LT1085 super regulator for Main board 5V only. (no need 12V)
12. Full modification Sanyo OS-Con and Rubycon MBZ capacitor.
13. Advance cooling system. (Target system temperature < 35'C)
14. Builiding advance 7.1 analog output (similar as Pioneer 91)
All 8 channel will have upsampling to 24bit / 192KHz by TI SRC4192
DAC use PCM1794A.
Target course fee < $2,400 (not include item 14, not include DVD-ROM)

Play no code DVD and DVD-R, or ISO file on DVD-R.
Reason for making the slot-in DVD:
1. Make it can play DVD also.
2. if the future FW can support region code DVD, user no worry how to mount the DVD into the chassics.
3. If the future FW can support Blu-Ray disc playback, user can install slot in blu-ray too.
Also, user can use that chassics to build in HTPC (with ITX MB) Some update of the Media Box outlook.
Specification:
1. The mounting holes support Himedia HD100. With all rear AV I/O port.
2. The mounting holes support 243mm x 243mm uATX MB.
We provide additional rear panel for HTPC user.
No add on card can be use in this HTPC case.
Should be use INTEL original cooling fan or 2U cooling fan.
Flex uATX power supply use only.
3. It can support normal DVD ROM, place on center, 2 HDD place at left and right to get the best balance weight loading. A multi card reader is available in this chassics, (for HTPC and HD100, option purchase)
4. It can mount 2 ESATA HDD with fast remove mount.
5. The front panel is liding down open (by hand), or Pull down. Need to confirm within this week. We need to consider how difficult of the manufacturing and reliable.
