i want to upgrade my speakerby myself,which bands of capacitor is good for speaker ? the band of the speaker is mission M72, i use this about 4yrs , now i want to upgrade it by myself, i think that capacitor change is 1 st step for upgrade and give me a exercise how to DIY KK sir,
Since u r the expert, can advise me on upgrade my small speaker as well?
My speaker is AE AEGIS 1, 3 cap inside is 6.0J/100V, 8.8J/100V & 5.5J/100V.
Currently i only twisted the cable inside, replace the white sponge to the yellow fibre sponge and put some sand bag inside teh speaker after this trick the bass is slightly tighter, sound also cleaner & clearer (less noise).
But i still feel that the high frequncy still not sweet enough, it a bit harsh and the bottom still not deep enough.
So any suggestion on this? KK Sir,

What the best of step by step upgrade on this part, the board seems had plenty of space for upgrading(refer photo cap-b2), some friend recomend to change the elna 100uF/50v ecap to film foil 10uF +0.1uF, i'm thinking is blackgate N series 100uF/50v non polarization ecap is better in this position?
2nd question, the original coupling cap for opamp (white evox rifa is 2.2uF/400V) can i use lower uF such as 0.22uF or 0.33uF since to buy a 2.2uF good cap is very expensive.
3) Shall i replace the solen 1uF/250 cap (beside the tube) to lower uF cap?
As my budget is limited i prefer to upgrade step by step.
Fyi, i like to listen to instrument especially violin,guitar, drum/percussion, ochestra and some vocal. Pls recomend modification suit to this type of music. 份線路有8成似MHZS??

Yes, the circuit quite similar as Mhzs cd33, the slight different is the bada have 2 output (tube & solidstate). and most of the cap use in bada is with larger uF. e.g, the coupling cap for opa is 2.2uF, and solen cap before signal enter tube is 1uF. the 2 cap near the back/rca terminal is 2 elna ecap. There are some empty terminal besides this 2 elna e-cap, i'm not sure whether it is mean for upgrade??
for the power side, there are 2 e-cap written as 100uf/100v, but when i check the voltage using multimeter is is <10V so can i replace them with 100uF/50V e-cap?
