It has a label marked which model is.

the reference is enclosed.(KSS 213C).

I think your CD33 is using KSS 213Q only china made.
may check the cover of head, if the cover is gery colourthat is kSS213Q and the label.

Actually my CD player is MHZS CD55(maybe so call oversea version). but share the same platform like CD33.

I check with expert in hk. they say sony no issue KSS213Q model, it is made by china only.
I also checked the web sit for KSS213 family. No KSS213Q are made by sony japan.

So I think your head is also made by China.
anyway, I suggest you buy a one for replace, because it's life not long.

do there have japan replacement model, or buy the same model from china? Now my CD player sometime cant select song, especially last song, cant even play n just HANG there, have to reset. :roll:

any problem with your CD len? you going to change it? Japan or china one?

My cd33 no such problem, it is fine.

Is it every cd are same problem, if yes, that the head or machine may have problem. I am not expert on this.

Reason:
The diff lot laser head will be have some parameter change due to production variation.

The Digital Servo IC is Philips (NXP) SAA7324. If you own the MCU code, you can change the focus and tracking gain over the program.

If you correct this, you can say you are "自己換CD鐳射頭 100%"

I sure have this code.
The reason why many people have read disc problem in CD-PRO 2 in xxxzone.

Their servo parameter is not perfect!!!
